Fertilization and Weed Control

We offer a 7 application program to boost vigorous grass growth and to control weeds for a smooth, attractive field with durability and playability.

• Late Winter- Pre & Postemergent Weed Control
• Early Spring- Fertilization with Pre Emergent Weed Control
• Late Spring- Fertilization
• Summer- Fertilization & Post Emergent Weed treatment
• Late summer- Fertilization to prepare for the coming winter and Post emergent weed control
• Fall- Pre & Post Emergent Weed Control for those early spring blooming weeds.
• Late Fall- Lime is applied to increase the soils ability to uptake fertilizers and emergents in the coming year.

Top Dressing w/Core Aeration

Our service begins with a Core Aeration to improve soil breathability, and reduce water runoff and puddling. Our Top Dresser will apply a generous even layer of US PGA Certified Weed Free Sand with Peat across the field, any ruts or depressions will receive additional sand to bring these spots up to level. We will then drag the sand across the field, leaving a nice smooth finish. This service is available May through September.
